Today, we continue our celebration of 🫐 National Blueberry Month! 🫐

Blueberry season is the perfect time to support the farmers who help feed our communities.

Buying directly from local farms or farmers' markets keeps more of your food dollars in your community while giving you the freshest fruit possible. Many farms also offer U-pick experiences, making for a fun summer outing for the whole family.

Every purchase is an investment in local agriculture and the families who work hard to grow our food.

🫐 Challenge: Visit a local blueberry farm, farmers market, or roadside stand this week. Share a photo of your blueberries—or tag your favorite local grower—to encourage others to shop local!

While you're at the farmers' market, pick up the ingredients to make this White Balsamic Blueberry, Corn, & Feta Salad, which was featured in our July 2025 issue of Good Day! magazine. (Recipe courtesy of Ann Bercher)

On this Independence Day, we’re celebrating Red, White, and YOU! 🇺🇸

As America commemorates 250 years of independence, we’re reminded that the strength of this nation has always come from its people and their communities.

The Grange is a patchwork of members from coast to coast, woven together by service, community, and a shared belief in building a stronger future. Across generations, backgrounds, ideals, and hometowns, our members each bring something unique to the fabric of the Grange. Together, those individual stories create something truly American.

For nearly 160 years, Grange members have helped shape and strengthen their hometowns. As we celebrate #America250, we honor not only our nation’s history, but the very people who continue building its future every day.

Thank you for being part of the story.

National Grange President Christine Hamp has released her "Speak Like a 'CHAMP'" phrase for the month of July.

FUTURE-PROOFING

Future-Proofing is the intentional process of preparing an organization, community, or system for long-term success in a rapidly changing environment. It involves anticipating future trends, challenges, and opportunities - and building the capacity, infrastructure, and leadership needed to navigate them effectively.
Future-proofing prioritizes resilience, adaptability, and forward-thinking decision-making. For the Grange, it means developing programs, leaders, and operational systems that will remain relevant and impactful for the next generation, not just the current one.

July is National 🫐 Blueberry 🫐 Month, and all month long, we'll be celebrating one of America's favorite fruits!

Blueberries are grown in more than 30 states and are packed with flavor, nutrition, and versatility. Whether you grow your own, pick them at a local farm, or pick up a pint at your farmers market, blueberries are a delicious way to support local agriculture.

Each Monday in July, we'll be sharing fun facts, recipes, and ideas for enjoying blueberry season while highlighting the farmers and communities who make it possible.

💬 Tell us: What's your favorite way to enjoy blueberries? Fresh, baked into a pie, mixed into pancakes, or something else? Share your favorite recipe or photo in the comments!

Happy Junior Grange Month!

This month, we celebrate all things "Junior" with our youngest members. Whether you're working on Junior Grange projects, heading to camp, or taking part in fun summer activities with your Junior-aged members, we look forward to hearing all about it.

As National Pollinator Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that strong communities often grow from the smallest acts of stewardship.

From backyard gardens and local farms to conservation projects and community beautification efforts, Grange members across the country help create spaces where pollinators and communities alike can thrive.

Before June ends, take one action to support pollinators:
🐝 Plant native wildflowers
🐝 Support a local beekeeper
🐝 Start a garden
🐝 Teach a child about pollinators
🐝 Share why pollinators matter

Tell us in the comments: what action will YOU take this month to help pollinators and strengthen your community?
